Fees

At Anchoring Your Life Counselling, providing quality care at affordable pricing is important and therefore you will find that the full private fees are often equal to or less than the gap payment for sessions offered on the mental healthcare plan, with a further rebate available for those eligible with private healthcare funds.

Rebates

As fees are private, there is no need to be on a mental healthcare plan or have a GP referral, which means no cap on the number of sessions you can attend.  If you are a member of one of the following private healthcare funds, you may be eligible for a rebate depending on your level of cover.

• CUA Health Insurance

Payment

Once a time has been reserved in the booking system, it is set aside for you unless you notify the practice otherwise.  To confirm your attendance at your appointment, payment is required by the invoice due date.  Payment can be made by card, direct transfer or PayPal and any eligible private health rebates are claimed directly by yourself to your provider.​​

Cancellations

Appointments often cannot be filled at short notice so you are asked to cancel your appointment as soon as you are aware that you will not be able to attend by contacting the practice directly.

 

Whilst it is understandable that life can be unpredictable, late cancellations are a loss to:

• you, as your treatment progress is delayed;

• others, who are waiting for an appointment;

• your counsellor, who spends time preparing for your session.

For this reason, cancellations given with less than 48 business hours notice are charged for.
