Fees

At Anchoring Your Life Counselling, providing quality care at affordable pricing is important and therefore you will find that the full private fees are often equal to or less than the gap payment for sessions offered on the mental healthcare plan, with a further rebate available for those eligible with private healthcare funds.

Rebates

As fees are private, there is no need to be on a mental healthcare plan or have a GP referral, which means no cap on the number of sessions you can attend.  If you are a member of one of the following private healthcare funds, you may be eligible for a rebate depending on your level of cover.

Payment

Once a time has been reserved in the booking system, it is set aside for you unless you notify the practice otherwise.  To confirm your attendance at your appointment, payment is required by the invoice due date.  Payment can be made by card or direct transfer and any eligible private health rebates are claimed directly by yourself to your provider.​​

Cancellations

A commitment to counselling is a commitment to achieving your goals. While life can present challenges, late payments and frequent cancellations make it difficult to plan sessions effectively and disrupt my ability to support you and others.  With this in mind, please provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel and in case of an unexpected event, contact the office with a minimum of 48 hours' notice.

Cancellation fees are not a revenue-raising activity and as such are only charged where no notice or less than 48 hours' notice is provided.  If I am able to fill the appointment, no fee is charged.
